由香港新苗國際教育集團組織的上海小熒星合唱團代表中國參加第八屆意大利“太陽島”國際合唱節圓滿落幕，上海小熒星合唱團作為中國唯一一個少兒合唱團，與來自世界各地知名合唱團同台獻藝，在世界舞台展示中國青少年合唱風采，唱響格拉多，小熒星合唱團出色表演贏得全場觀眾的熱情歡呼與讚賞，榮獲第八屆意大利“太陽島”國際合唱節G1組金獎，并受到組委會特邀，表演返場歌曲《纜車》。

上海小熒星合唱團參加完比賽後，訪問世界頂級專業音樂學院——奧地利國立薩爾茨堡莫扎特音樂學院，莫扎特音樂學院創建於1841年，位於偉大作曲家莫扎特的故鄉薩爾茨堡。學院擁有世界級音樂，表演等方面的師資，課程涵蓋了音樂、表演、美術、樂器演奏、學前形體訓練和社會科學等30多種。
